Description

For deep, heavenly, vibing effects and tube screaming high gain situations, you will find your needs met in both the neck and the bridge. Lush, crispy cleans and controlled, well-articulated distorted tones are the flagship of this set in its entirety.  Minuteman is the direct result of feedback from modern, progressive-style guitarists seeking moderately high output, clarity, focused mid-range, and superior string-to- string note definition, both in high gain and clean applications. (Yes, they djent)The bridge pickup allows for high preamp gain while still retaining tight and pronounced rhythm work. Strong mid-range presence and exceptional reception to changes in pick dynamic are noteworthy attributes to this bridge. Brilliant clarity heard in every note, whether the amp is dimed or rolled back clean.

In the neck pickup you will find a focused tone that resides on the brighter side of the spectrum. The specific wind and magnet configuration do well alleviating muddiness in distorted tones while keeping that “neck-position” sound and pushing out crystalline cleans.

Wow! these are perfect for modern metal without a doubt!(in my opinion) I’ve tried many other modern metal voiced pickups from the likes of Dimarzios, Duncan, and BKP. But none of them had exactly what I was looking for, they all seemed “dull’ in some way, don’t get me wrong they had great tone its just the EQ curve wasn’t there. The best way I can describe them is as being very articulate in a high gain with a pleasant pissed-off character(if that even makes sense?), excellent for rhythm playing but do very well for leads as well. Cleans are cleans though they are very open and don’t get loss with very heavy amounts of reverb and delay. A pickup I will defiantly recommend for any “modern” metal genre in fact they will be my go to from now on. But probably try some their other pickups in the future. Seriously I’m am very impressed and don’t no why more people recommend them more often in the guitar community.
